As a personal injury attorney, Kevin Brummett has a record of defending over 1,000 cases, including automobile accidents, premises liabilities, general liabilities, and many more. Mr. Brummett’s strengths and passion are helping his clients understand the law, developing a plan of action, and getting them a fair and equitable settlement. Mr. Brummett has a 12+ year history working in the personal injury field. When he completed law school, he worked 2 years at Allen-Kopet, a defense firm in Brentwood, TN, where he handled worker’s compensation claims and several general liability hearings in sessions courts throughout the state. From there he spent the next 10 years at Hughes & Coleman Law Firm handling personal injury cases, most of which were automobile accidents, general injury liabilities, premises liabilities, and pedestrian and bicycle claims, just to name a few.
Mr. Brummett received his undergraduate degree at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He completed his law degree at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, MS where he was awarded best overall oral judgment of his entire class in a Moot Court competition.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Mr. Brummett still follows the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens sports teams. He has lived in Tennessee for over 22 years and happily calls it home. He’s been married for 22 years and has 2 sons. Outside of law, Mr. Brummett is an avid shooter, poker player, and golfer.
